It would be very relevant for it to actually flow, maybe in a similar fashion that water in rivers does. the player is supposed to be mining the segment of the lava flow mine that has 50% (lowest possible) flow rate. Flow rate can be checked at gauges and at a dwarf near the entrance.
Players who have completed King of the Dwarves can head back to the Lava Flow Mine to help keep the lava flowing. Benefits include a good rate of XP and the chance to earn pieces of the golden mining suit, which grants a boost to Mining XP earned anywhere in RuneScape.
Lava geysers are a Distraction and Diversion found while mining in the Lava Flow random intervals averaging once every 45 minutes (with peaks of up to over an hour), a lava geyser can appear in a random lava channel segment within the Lava Flow Mine.
Sep 28, 2019· Following the release of the Mining and Smithing rework, the Imcando pickaxe is more valuable because it can be used to make the Pickaxe of Earth and Song. Would be great to establish and FC (friends chat) to connect miners across different worlds so that we can quickly find the geysers, hop worlds and thus get the parts to the Imcando pickaxe.
While Mining experience, a lesser amount of Smithing experience, and uncut gemstones can all be obtained by playing the Lava Flow Mine minigame, the primary attractions are the Golden mining outfit and Gilded pickaxes given by the Liquid Gold Nymph, as well as the Imcando pickaxe (e).
