Feb 22, 2018· Hey guys, I just got a Brown Sharpe #2 Vertical Milling Lt. as a Christmas gift from a good friend of mine, I ordered a operating manual from ebay for it but it''s not the right one, it''s for a newer model than mine, I ran onto a list of serial #''s dates, and from what I can tell mine was built around 1938, the serial # is 1399. Does anyone know where I can get a operation manual for it.

Aug 17, 2019· My BS 2A Universal came with a Spanish copy of a Bridgeport head on the overarm supports. So I can use the Brown and Sharp as a horizontal or Vertical mill. The Bridgeport head comes off fairly easily so I can use the overarm supports for the outboard arbor support when horizontal milling.
Just looked at a Brown Sharp No2 Horizontel mill today and could buy it right in my opinion. It is in exelent shape and has a ton of cutters with it.
